How to meet people and grow your business in Oregon City

The Oregon City Chamber runs a calendar of events designed for working business owners.

Networking is one of the most important things you can do to meet your local community and grow your business. They form the backbone of the OC Chamber and the benefits run much deeper than you might think.

There are many different events to try out. Some have been running for decades, some are brand new. All of them are built around the idea that meeting the people who live and work in Oregon City is the fastest way to grow your business.

Business folks from Oregon City, Gladstone, West Linn, and all Clackamas County are welcome.

Good Morning Oregon City (GMOC)

Every Wednesday 7:30 AM | Different Location Every Week

Morning Networking with The Chamber of Commerce at Mak.

Free to visit twice. GMOC is the heartbeat of the Chamber. Every Wednesday morning, dozens of Oregon City business owners gather over coffee for an hour of structured connection. Quick member introductions, a brief featured speaker, time to actually talk to the people in the room. It's the one event where you can reliably meet the same faces week after week, which is exactly how the best referral relationships get built.

Who it's for: Anyone who wants to be known in Oregon City business circles. Realtors, insurance agents, contractors, attorneys, financial planners, marketers, restaurant owners and more.

What to expect on your first visit: Coffee, breakfast, a friendly welcome, and someone personally introducing you to people before the program starts. You won't be the only new face. Visitors are welcome before joining, come twice on us, see if it fits.

How to attend: Check the events calendar for the details of the next GMOC

Ribbon Cuttings

Ribbon Cutting for Farmers Insurance
Ribbon Cutting for Classic Collision

When a member opens a new location, hits a milestone, or launches something worth celebrating, we bring the ribbon, the oversized scissors, the camera, and a crowd. Ribbon cuttings are part celebration, part marketing, part community welcome.

Who it's for: New businesses opening in Oregon City. Existing businesses expanding, relocating, or rebranding. Members marking a milestone (anniversary, new ownership, major renovation). And every member who shows up to celebrate them.

What to expect on your first visit: Press outreach, a Chamber-led brief program, photos you can use for years, a social media boost, and a roomful of fellow members publicly endorsing your business. If you're a new member, this is often the first thing we schedule together.

How to attend: Check the events calendar for the details of the next ribbon cutting.

Mind Your Business Book Club

Get smarter as you connect

Business After Hours

Business After Hours Networking in Oregon City

We all love networking very early in the morning, but some of us also like to network after work with a beer in hand. If that sounds like you, let me tell you about Business After Hours. This is a chance to unwind with fellow Chamber members and get to know each other in an unstructured and friendly environment.

Who it's for: Chamber members who want to network in a purposefully relaxed and friendly space.

What to expect on your first visit: Expect cheery Chamber members and raising a glass to the achievements of the week.

How to attend: Hosted at a different establishment every time. Just turn up and introduce yourself. Check calendar for events.
